Decks, deck covers and screened porches, pergolas, siding, and room additions: every one of these is available in Alma the same way it is in Manhattan or Junction City. Building in Manhattan
The City of Manhattan requires a building permit for a new deck, or for replacing an existing one, when it sits more than 30 inches above ground level. That threshold comes from the city itself, and it is the rule that decides whether a project needs a permit before work starts. We handle the full permitting process on any project that needs it, so the paperwork is ours to manage, not yours.
Requirements are not identical everywhere on this list. A city building department and a county building division run different processes, and which one applies depends on exactly where your property sits, not just which town it is near. The Green Valley area, east of Manhattan, straddles the Riley and Pottawatomie county line, so if you are building there, you cannot always tell which jurisdiction governs your project just by looking at the address. Working out which department or division applies, and what that department requires, is part of what handling permitting means for us.
Much of Manhattan's housing stock dates to the 1990s and 2000s, which is around when original, builder-grade siding starts to show its age and reach the end of what it was built to last.

Wamego, KS
Wamego sits east of Manhattan, a smaller market than some of the towns on this list. Every service we offer, the same crew, and the same process apply there exactly as they do everywhere else we build.
Riley, KS

We do not offer a narrower set of services in some towns and a fuller one in others, so wherever you are on that list, you have access to everything we build.
Being outside Manhattan does not change how we handle your estimate. Every town on this list gets the same free estimate as a project inside Manhattan itself, with the same site visit and the same walkthrough of what the work involves.
