Terms and Conditions
Last updated:
These are the terms for using the Tallgrass Construction LLC website. They cover this site only, and the short version is that everything on it describes the work we do to help you decide whether to call, not to price your project, so nothing here is a quote or a binding estimate.
Accepting these terms
Using this website means these terms apply to you. If you do not agree, simply do not use the site. These terms cover this website only, not a project we have agreed to build for you, which is covered by the written estimate and agreement for that work. Our privacy policy covers anything you send us through a form here.
What this website is for
This website describes the work we do: decks, deck covers and screened porches, pergolas, residential siding, and room additions, along with the materials we build with and the areas of Kansas we serve. It is general information meant to help you decide whether to get in touch. It is not advice about your specific property, and it is not an assessment of your project.
Nothing on this website is an offer, a quote, or a binding estimate, including any price range, cost guidance, or timeline that may appear here. Estimates are free, and a real one comes only after we have looked at your project and put it in writing. Nothing becomes binding until that written estimate, and any agreement for the work itself, are signed.
Project descriptions and photographs
The project descriptions and photographs on this website show the kind of work we do. They are illustrative of the type of project, not a guarantee that your project will look the same or produce the same result. Every property is different: site conditions, the existing structure, the materials you choose, and your own preferences all change the outcome. Some images show the kind of project we build rather than a photograph of a specific completed job.
Content and trademarks
The text, photographs, and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to read it, share a link to it, and print a page for your own use.
Our own content
The Tallgrass name, our logo, our written content, and our project photographs are ours. They are here so you can learn about what we do and decide whether to reach out, not so they can be used somewhere else. Please do not copy them for another business, and please do not publish them anywhere as your own work.
Manufacturer brands
TimberTech, LP SmartSide, and Heartland Pergolas are trademarks of their respective owners. We use those names, and the brand materials those companies make available, to identify the products we install and carry. Naming a manufacturer here does not mean that manufacturer endorses this website or is responsible for its content, and we do not claim any rights in their marks.
Links to other websites
This website links out in a small number of places, including to our Facebook page and, occasionally, to an outside source cited in an article. We do not run those websites, and we do not control what they publish or how they handle your information. If you follow a link off this site, the terms and privacy practices of that other website apply, not ours.
What we are responsible for
This section is about using this website and relying on what is published here, not about the work itself. If we have agreed to build something for you, responsibility for that project is set out in the written estimate and the agreement you sign for that work, not in these terms.
We work hard to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is error free, complete, or up to date at every moment. We are not responsible for a decision made purely on the strength of something read here rather than confirmed with us. If something on this site matters to your decision, call us and check it.
Governing law
We are based in Kansas, and these terms, along with your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. That is the law that applies here, stated plainly and without naming a particular court or county. If a legal question ever comes up about this website, Kansas law is where it starts.
Changes to these terms
We update this page whenever these terms change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and the version published here is always the current one. If you keep using this website after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about anything on this page, or about what a specific part of this site means for your project, we would rather you ask than guess. Here is how to reach us.
